Hi, I’m Will Journiette, a photographer specializing in sports, concerts, and portraits. I was born and raised in Southwest VA.

After leaving high school in 2019, I worked a few different jobs including at T-Mobile and Best Buy before eventually enrolling at VWCC for Business Administration in 2022.

Even before starting Journiette Photography LLC in 2023, I had a strong interest in exploring photography, as I was constantly taking photos on my phone. It wasn’t until I photographed a Call of Duty League event that I realized this was one of my passions. I then bought my first camera, a used Sony a6400, and began taking my photography more seriously.

Since then, I have been fortunate to have photographed eSports events in countries such as Canada and Saudi Arabia. I later expanded into concert and sports photography, working with acts such as country artist Jake Bradley and some of Roanoke’s local sports teams such as the Rail Yard Dawgs, Salem Red Sox, and various other youth sports teams throughout the Roanoke Valley.
